Ikat Series.

I love the look of Ikat.  It's an old tradition found almost every continents of the world.  Although ikat pattern on these shirts were achieved not by weaving, but by painting, I like the idea of paying homage to this wonderful tradition.  Ikat pattern on silk was a wonderful way of playing with different colors and shapes.  These are some ikat pattern silk pieces I've created recently.
